Zero against Málaga

On Wednesday 24th September (5º Liga game), Barcelona could not beat Málaga and brought a 0-0 from La Rosaleda.
Here are my notes regarding the game.

1) FC Barcelona played his usual 4-3-3 with Messi behind 2 strikers.

2) Málaga played 4-3-3 against Barcelona.

3) FC Barcelona did not manage to threaten from the wings. Failed take-ons on the left, did not even try on the right.

4) Without reaching superiorities, FC Barcelona insisted on crossings. Only 4 out of 33 proved dangerous.

5) The idea is that Messi can combine with strikers. But it does not happen. Heat map void in front of the area.

No good positions were found. As a result, Kameni did not have to make any save.

6) Málaga pressed high Barcelona when initiating from the side. Impressive from min 50 to 53.

7) During 2ª half, Barcelona did not put the game into Málaga's half. It was much more vertical.
Passing suffered: 91% of success in 1ºH, only 82% in 2ºH.
Therefore the ball was getting back quicker. Málaga were not blocked  at 70 meters from Bravo's goal and looked more dangerous.

I do not think that was the worst game by far from the culés. They just used the same plan as usual but Málaga responded well. Still work to do for Luis Enrique !!
