Spanish King´s Cup for Real Madrid

Yesterday 16th April Ancelotti's Real Madrid won their first trophy of the season by beating Fútbol Club Barcelona 2-1. King's Cup goes to the Spanish capital.
Game stats:
From whoscored.com

My notes about the game:

1- Real Madrid plays with flat 4-4-2.

2- They shut off the center and forces Barcelona to go to the wings.

3- Once on the side, Real Madrid moves. Barcelona cannot find a way to progress. They have to start again from the back.

4- Madrid defends very deep. They change to 4-4-1-1. Bale defends and Benzema stays with the centerbacks. Barcelona attacks with 8 players.

5- Messi does not get the ball. He has to go deep to touch it. Very far from Casillas.

6- Real Madrid counterattack via Benzema and Bale. One gets the ball from the back, the other goes to the created space. Speed and direct play hit Barcelona.

7- Since Barcelona do not find solutions, Alves tries to find the header of Messi and Neymar. Against Pepe and Ramos.

8- Min 60. Pedro for Cesc. Tata gets back to the "Barça of the wingers". He wants things to happen.

9- But it is not successful. Since Barcelona is not dangerous, Messi goes to midfield. Pedro as 9 and Alves more offensive. It will not be enough to win the game.

After a game where none of the teams was brilliant, Real Madrid wins the 2014 Spanish King's Cup.
Barça supporters will always remember the beautiful winner from Bale. So will Real Madrid's fans !!
